Pip Eagleton Memorial Trophy
A new addition to the class in 2023, the 'Pip Eagleton Endurance Trophy' was awarded in memory of Pip Eagleton, a devoted supporter not only of her husband Richard's Europe adventures but of the UK class as a whole, who passed away in 2020.
The trophy is awarded for particular endeavour and determination, typically raced for in a 'non-scoring' long distance race held at the UK Europe National Championships. This typically comprises a committee boat start in the race area, following the final race of the day, finishing close to the slipway. In the event that such a race cannot be held, the trophy should be awarded to a competitor deemed to have demonstrated these attributes at the event.
